Walks

Explore the famous coastal footpaths.

One of our favourites is the walk from Mousehole to Lamorna Cove, which takes in spectacular coastal views. As well as the beautiful Lamorna Valley with the 4800-year-old Merry Maidens stone circle.

Further west there’s the long sandy beach of Sennen cove. From there you can walk to Lands End, or, you can head in the opposite direction through the stunning Cot Valley to Cape Cornwall and visit the old mining town of St. Just in Penwith.

Ancient sites abound in Penwith.

Carn Euny, Chysauster, Boscawen-un, The Merry Maidens, The Pipers are all names that conjure up the magical history of the area, because of this ancient connection, the Earth Goddess and pagan values feature in peoples lives.

Inland Penwith has its secrets.

Sancreed village, considered the heart of the area has a holy well, has does the nearby village of Madron. People still leave offerings, known as clouties, at these ancient healing places.

Enjoy the special scenery of West Cornwall.

There are many special places to see in Cornwall, romantic beaches, delightful hidden coves and places of interest such as The Minack and open-air cliffside theatre.

The above is just a sample of what one might expect when visiting us.

We’re happy to provide you with maps, or take you on guided walks.

We can also recommend many pit stops on the way!
